What exactly is toile de jouy? Toile de jouy is a classic French style featuring small drawn scenes connected by swirling linework of leaves or ribbons. Here, it is translated into the children's room with scenes a child can recognize.

Is mustard yellow too busy for a child's room? Mustard is richer than white or beige, but the fine linework and the white space between the scenes keep the pattern airy. One accent wall is already convincing; the rest of the room can remain calm white or natural.

How many rolls do I need? Each roll is 50 cm wide and 10 meters long. Measure the surface to be wallpapered and add 10 to 15 percent for the offset match and the 33.5 cm pattern repeat. Unsure? Send the measurements, and we’ll calculate it together.
