What exactly is toile de jouy? Toile de jouy is a classic French style featuring small drawn scenes connected by swirling linework of leaves or ribbons. Here, it is translated into the children's room with scenes a child can recognize.

Is natural wallpaper too boring for a child's room? Not if the design is good enough, and Scenes certainly is. The delicate scenes on a soft background give a room something illustrative, as if a picture book is hanging on the wall. Boring is not the right word.

How many rolls do I need? Each roll is 50 cm wide and 10 meters long. Measure the surface to be wallpapered and add 10 to 15 percent for the offset match and the 33.5 cm pattern repeat. Unsure? Send the measurements, and we’ll calculate it together.
