1. About Kidsbarn

Kidsbarn is a Dutch online store specializing in children's room interiors, with a range of wallpaper, decoration, furniture, and accessories.

2. Applicability

These terms apply to all orders placed with Kidsbarn. By placing an order, you agree to these terms.

3. The offer

We do our best to describe and depict our products as clearly as possible. Colors may vary slightly due to screen settings — order a sample if in doubt.

All prices include VAT.

4. The agreement

An order is final once you complete it and we have confirmed your order by email.

Kidsbarn may refuse an order if there is a clear error, for example in price or stock.

5. Delivery time & shipping

We ship as quickly as possible. Delivery times are stated on the product pages.

If there is a delay, we will inform you. If we cannot deliver your order, you will receive a refund.

The risk of the package passes to you once the order has been delivered to the address you provided.

Note: import duties, taxes, and customs fees in the destination country are the responsibility of the recipient.

6. Right of withdrawal (standard products)

For all products that are not custom-made, a reflection period of 14 days applies from the moment of receipt.

During the reflection period, you may examine the product as you would in a store. Use beyond what is necessary may lead to depreciation.

We charge a contribution per return for the return label: €3 within the Netherlands, €7.50 from Belgium or Germany, and €12.50 from the rest of Europe. Do you live outside the EU? Unfortunately, we cannot create a return label. Returns outside the EU are at your own expense, including any customs or import fees. Note: import duties, taxes, and customs fees on the outbound shipment are also the responsibility of the recipient in the destination country. Once your return is received by us, we will process the refund.

You can also find this link in the footer of our website. After filling it out, you will receive a confirmation by email and we will process your request in accordance with the legal deadlines.

7. No right of withdrawal for wallpaper, wall stickers, borders, and custom-made furniture

Some products are made especially for you and therefore cannot be returned:

• wallpaper (produced on order)
• wall stickers
• wall borders
• wallpaper samples
• custom furniture

These products are printed to order and per order and fall under the statutory exception for custom work. This is always clearly stated on the product page.

8. Returns of standard products

Do you want to return a product that is covered by the right of withdrawal?

• Report the return within 14 days of receipt via your account on kidsbarn.nl
• Return the products within 14 days
• Make sure items are unused, complete, and in original condition

We charge a contribution per return: €3,— (NL), €7.50 (BE & DE), €12.50 (rest of Europe). After receipt, we will refund the purchase amount within 5 working days.

Do you live outside the EU? Then you can arrange your return yourself — costs are at your own expense, including any customs or import fees.

9. Complaints & warranty

Do you have a complaint or is something wrong with your order? Let us know via info@kidsbarn.nl and, if possible, add photos. We are happy to resolve it together.

Statutory warranty

As a consumer, you are entitled under EU law to a 2-year statutory warranty. This means that in case of a defect or fault, you have the right to:

• repair of the product
• replacement with an equivalent product
• or — if that is not possible — reimbursement

These rights apply from the date of delivery.

What is not covered by warranty?

Damage caused by incorrect use, improper assembly, or an unsuitable surface (for example, with wallpaper) is not covered by the statutory warranty.

Commercial warranty

Kidsbarn does not offer a commercial warranty beyond the statutory period of 2 years. Some suppliers do offer this — it will be stated on the product page.

10. Prices & payment

All prices include VAT. Discount codes cannot be combined.

Payment can be made via the payment options offered on the website.

11. Liability

Kidsbarn is not liable for damage caused by:

• incorrect use of products
• incorrect assembly
• color differences due to background or screen settings
• incorrectly provided measurements for custom products
• delay caused by carriers

Our liability is always limited to the amount of the order.

13. Force Majeure

If there are circumstances beyond our control (such as strikes, transport problems, or disruptions), this may affect delivery.

14. Disputes

Dutch law applies to all agreements.
