Nordic Grey is the color of a cloudy Scandinavian morning — and that’s a compliment. Not flat or dull, but full of tone: a gray that has warmth without being warm. In this color, Marie Erstad’s leaf wallpaper gains something graphic, something calm, something that fits Scandinavian design as if it has always belonged.

For the kids’ room that needs to stay stylish even as the children become teenagers. Nordic Grey grows with them.

FAQ

Is Nordic Grey cool or warm in tone? Nordic Grey sits between warm and cool — it’s neither blue-gray nor beige-gray, but has elements of both. Combined with warm wood or natural linen, it leans warm; next to white or blue, it becomes a bit cooler. Request a sample to see how it works in your space.

What pairs well with Nordic Grey? Honestly, almost everything. White, natural wood, and rattan are the easiest choices. But Nordic Grey also works excellently alongside blush pink, mustard yellow, or deep blue. It’s a true base color that gives accent colors room to shine.

Is this wallpaper suitable for both boys' and girls' rooms? Absolutely. Nordic Grey is gender-neutral and timeless — a conscious choice if you’re decorating a room that needs to work for multiple children or over several years.

How do I apply this wallpaper? Paste-the-wall: apply the glue to the wall, then hang the strip dry. Easier than traditional wallpaper, even on higher ceilings.

Brand story Summer Gray has Scandinavian roots, and you can tell. The collaboration with Marie Erstad — Danish designer, hand-drawn work — fits perfectly with a brand that believes good design starts with true craftsmanship. Junia Nordic Grey is perhaps the best example of this.
