Sensory

With sensory play, you play through your senses. We all have 5 senses: seeing, smelling, hearing, feeling and tasting. With sensory toys you can use all these senses, stimulating your imagination and the fine motor skills are stimulated.

Examples of sensory toys include play rice, water pearls or kinetic sand. Children often enjoy this for hours and do not need much. Make nice shapes of the kinetic sand, put the rice rice through a funnel, pick up the rice grains with tweezers or see and feel how large the water pearls are when they absorb water!
The cheerful colors often make it even more fun!

You can also put this fun toy in a (wooden) play box, so that you keep the rice or sand together nicely. Put a lid on it and you can easily put it away again.
