Play at Slaep gets a new home and big plans
With pride and a lot of enthusiasm, we - Mariska (owner of Kidsbarn) and Marsha (founder of Slaep and Play at Slaep) - we can jointly announce a special new chapter: from today, Marsha will bear ownership of the graphic wallpaper collection of the beautiful brand Play at Slaep left to Mariska.

Play at Slaep is not an average brand. The graphic wallpaper collections are designed with style, harmony and character. In collaboration with the very best designers, five impressive collections have emerged that not only transform children's rooms, but also other spaces in the house into a place full of atmosphere.

A loving transfer
After 15 years at the helm of the sustainable lifestyle brand Slaep and the creative label Play at Slaep, Marsha opts for a new direction. Her children are now teenagers, and the moment is there to make room for the next step in her creative journey.
"It's time for a fresh wind and new energy. I love to hand over Play at Slaep to Mariska, in full confidence that she will lift the brand to the next level. It is a special step, but one that is completely right." - Marsha
Fortunately, Marsha remains closely involved-behind the scenes as a designer for the B2B market. Her talent, experience and tasteful view therefore remain an important part of the brand.

A logical step in my own journey
For me, Mariska, this step feels like a perfect match. As an interior designer and owner of Kidsbarn, I already focus on creating special children's rooms.
With the acquisition of Play at Slaep, there is a wonderful brand that not only fits my love for color and print, but also with my ambition to make Kidsbarn the space for interiors with guts - for children and adults.
In the coming period I will completely put my focus on children's interior. Children's clothing and some of the toys disappear, so that space is created to make the wallpaper brand bloom - and to develop new collections that you can safely wallpaper art May mention: pronounced, stylish and slightly different.

Ambitions for the future
Our joint mission is clear: further expand the brand, professional positioning within the B2B market and putting them on the map internationally.
Together with two fantastic designers we have already started brand new collections, the first two of which are launched after the summer.
We dream large - and in the long term even a new brand name is part of our international ambitions and the expansion to adult interiors.
