How do you calculate the number of wallpaper rolls needed for your wall?
First, calculate the number of patterns per strip. For example, if a wall is 260cm high and the wallpaper has a pattern of 70cm: 260/70 = 3.71 = 4 patterns.
4 patterns x pattern height 70cm = 280cm needed per strip.
Next, calculate how many strips you can get from a roll. Do this by dividing the length of the roll by the required length per strip. In this example: 10m/280cm = 3.57 strips. So you get 3 strips from 1 roll.
Then calculate how many rolls you need. Do this by dividing the width of the wall by the width of the roll and then dividing by the number of strips you get from the roll, rounding up. For example: if the wall is 420cm wide, divide this by 53cm (width of the roll) = 7.9 strips. 8 / 3 strips = 2.6 rolls = 3 rolls of wallpaper.
