Lilu by Bloomingville MINI is a lamp for the children's room shaped like a bear's head: a rounded shade made of woven rattan, two ears on top, and a light-colored snout that protrudes slightly. The eyes and nose are hand-painted on. It looks a little serious, as only teddy bears can.

I think Lilu is a great choice if you're looking for an animal lamp that isn't loud or over the top. From a distance, it's a beautiful warm-brown rattan lamp; only when you look more closely do you see the bear. This makes it suitable for a calm, natural room, but it works just as well with colorful wallpaper, where it adds a little calmness to the ceiling.

2. Frequently asked questions

Does the Lilu lampshade come with a cord and a bulb?
No, Lilu is a separate lampshade. A cord pendant and light source are ordered separately. This way, you can choose whether a black, white, or colored cord looks best in the room.

Does a rattan pendant lamp provide enough light in a child's room?
Yes, it works well as ambient and general lighting. The shade is open at the bottom, and the weave lets light through all around. For reading or crafting, an additional wall or table lamp at the spot itself is useful.

Is every Lilu lamp exactly the same?
No. The shade is made of natural rattan and woven and painted by hand. Small differences in color, shape, and dimensions are part of the product, so your bear will be just a little different from the one in the photo.

How do you clean a rattan lamp?
Remove dust with a soft brush, feather duster, or the brush attachment of a vacuum cleaner. Do not use a damp cloth or cleaning product, as moisture is not good for rattan or the hand-painted face.

4. About Bloomingville MINI

Bloomingville is a Danish interior brand founded by Betina Stampe in 2000. MINI is the children's line: the same warm, Scandinavian style, but with a playful twist. Lilu shows how this works. At its core, it is a classic rattan shade like one you might also hang in a living room, with just enough bear character to give a child's room its own personality.

5.
